Training runs across ten levels, each 12 hours of face-to-face, experiential teaching delivered by certified GCCST trainers. Levels 1–4 are the foundational pathway and make you eligible for CCST or SB-CST certification. Levels 5–10 are the advanced pathway, covering group work, children and adolescents, adults, families and couples, trauma and grief, and lead to CCST-AC or SB-CST-AC. See the Certification page for the full level-by-level breakdown.

Complete Levels 1–4, hold a current unconditional mental health licence (or active school-counselling certification), submit 10 individual trays with notes and 2 case consultations with a qualified consultant, and you are eligible for CCST or SB-CST. After holding that credential for two years and completing Levels 5–10, plus 10 further trays and 4 further consultations, you may apply for the advanced CCST-AC or SB-CST-AC on your renewal date.
